Angela Vera joined Sandcastle Homes as the second employee in 2002. As we enter our 25th year in business, she has been here since the beginning and has the best view on how things have changed at Sandcastle through the years.

“When I was hired, I was only the 3rd of the 3 employees at the time. We worked out of a tiny two-bedroom, 1 bath house with no central AC or heat. During the winter it would get so cold in the office that we would put space heaters under our desks to stay warm. But despite our humble office space I knew immediately that I had chosen well and the company quickly became my second family. Through the years, my Sandcastle family has been with me through many wonderful and challenging times in my life from getting married, the birth of my two children, and the unexpected death of my mother.

We have grown and changed a lot, but what hasn’t changed at all is that our quality and customer service is still second to none. 25 years later we still offer a beautiful house for our customers at the best value in town. And to all of our employees, customers, trade partners, and subcontractors Sandcastle Homes is more than just a company, it is a family.”
