As we settle into the New Year we may also look to refresh our homes through color. Get inspired to make a change in your home with the top color trends forecast for 2018 you may in many homes in Houston TX.

  1. Black – Black is still going strong in 2018. It will instantly add drama and sophistication to your space. Set a bold and sexy tone in your room by painting the whole room black or treat it as a neutral color by pairing it with a color scheme or theme. Black will look good on your chandelier, cocktail table, doors, dresser, floors, and so much more.
  2. Caliente – It’s Benjamin Moore’s Color of the Year for 2018 and truly exudes confidence. Caliente will work well as an accent wall, spread across an entire room, or as trim with black and white. You can’t go wrong with Caliente and are sure to turn heads.
  3. Gen-Z Yellow – Some say it’s the new millennial pink. It’s seen on red carpets, on runways, and should be seen in your home. From bold accent walls, accessories, wall art, appliances and blankets, to sofas, doors, and candles, you can include Gen-Z Yellow into your interior and exterior home design.
  4. Sage – This soft shade of gray and green is popping in 2018 and is being used more and more as a neutral color. Use sage on the walls of you bedroom, bathroom, living room or kitchen. Look to also incorporate sage into your décor with throw blankets and pillows, dressers, or bookshelves.

  • "I just moved into my new Sandcastle home and I think it’s a wonderful place to live. They have been very helpful, particularly Lynette and Steven. From the owner Mike Salomon down, it has been a truly positive experience. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to buy a new home that is built of high quality to consider this home builder." Neal Massey
  • "I purchased my house on 1/31/17. I have the Coronado plan. The process of adding upgrades was very easy. The closing went very smoothly. Mike was great to work with! Since the closing, I’ve had a few minor issues come up. I can’t say enough about Steven! He has always been extremely helpful and has fixed all of these minor issues or set me up with the person who can fix them. He is great!
I love my home! I feel like I got a good value for the location. I look forward to enjoying my house in the years to come!" Kris Kieta
  • "We just moved into our new home by Sandcastle. Since the beginning of the process the whole Sandcastle team paid great attention to our requests and responded rapidly. We were lucky to get in contract in time for us to choose colors, kitchen design, finishes and other and all our requests were reflected in our new house. At the end of the closing, the team always kept the same great attitude towards us and helped us with any question or request. We would say one of the greatest things about Sandcastle is that they really back up what they sell: best price, best service, best quality in town. We ended up extremely pleased with our new house."
