Jason and Emily Wilburn purchased their home from Sandcastle in 2017. They bought a Athens floorplan in Shady Acres, which includes an open first floor, gameroom upstairs and a huge master bathroom.

“When we sought after our first home purchase we had an extensive list of desires and non-negotiable items. We keep an eye out for what was on the market long before we were even serious buyers. From that, at the top of the non-negotiable list were: first floor kitchen/living room, actual backyard space, and an actual driveway for our sole use that’s connected or with covered path to our home. We ideally preferred to “make-it-our-own” without having to pay premium for a home on top of then paying premium to make it our own. When we found our section of Sandcastle homes and the floorplan we loved still in framing stage enabling us to “make it our own”, we were immediately sold. We had several bonuses with this particular home including a size yard we never imagined on a dead-end street walking distance from a bar and a Mexican restaurant— needless to say, we are very happy we didn’t settle on our desires and non-negotiable list because our patience and market research to find this home paid off.” – Emily & Jason Wilburn
