It’s been a difficult year to be a parent. It all started during Spring Break 2020. Our kids took a much-deserved break from school, only to find that they would not be back for the rest of the school year. Summer camps were canceled, as were play dates. Then the difficult choices for the 2020-2021 school year. In-person or remote learning? Or hybrid? No matter which path you chose, we survived!

The school year is approaching its conclusion. And many of our kids will be going to new schools for the 2021-2022 school year. If you are considering buying a new home and have or are planning to have children, schools are an important part of the equation. Fortunately, we have some great public school choices for those of us who choose to live inside the Loop. This article will focus on some of the choices in the neighborhoods in which we specialize and try to help you navigate the decision.
