Houston Real Estate Continues to Flourish

Houston Real Estate continues to flourish in 2013. According to the Houston Association of Realtors, January 2013 marked the 20^th consecutive month of positive home sales. The average price for a single-family home reached $200,296—this marked the highest level for a January month in Houston. The national average inventory for single-family homes is 4.4 months. Houston inventory fell to 3.6 months of single-family homes which is the lowest Houston has seen since December 1999.
