Kay

In Loving Memory of “Kay” |

We recently lost Kay due to kidney failure. She joined Sandcastle Homes in 2002 and quickly became known as “the office cat” and our special Assistant Sales Manager. Before entering the homebuilding industry, Kay lived the hard life of a feral cat. She enjoyed a life of luxury, spending her days basking in the sun in Mike Dishberger’s office. While shy, Kay had a “paw” in many of our sales. Kay also played a role in hiring: the final seal of approval for a new employee was given when Kay deigned to grace the candidate with her presence. Kay was an eager lap cat whose loving demeanor and constant purring brought joy and happiness to our work weeks. She will be greatly missed and the office will not be the same without her!
